Singapore, 2017 – On 2^nd December, the talented boyband, VIXX came to Singapore for their first full-scale concert in the city as part of their Shangri-la Tour. VIXX ( an acronym for Voice, Visual, Value in Excelsis) is a six-member South Korean boy band, formed by Jellyfish Entertainment in 2012. All members participated in Mnet’s survival reality show MyDOL. The members consist of N, Leo, Ken, Ravi, Hongbin, and Hyuk.

The concert was held at Zepp at Big Box and even though this is not their first time in Singapore, the fans are still as excited to see their favorite boy band performing live again! The boys of VIXX not only perform several popular songs, they also interact with all their Starlights and made sure that everyone leaves the concert with happy memories.

At the beginning of the concert after performing several hit songs, the boys sat down and start to share updates on what they have been up to the past few weeks and months. Not only are the members busy with their tour, they prove to be very hard working as they share how they have been preparing for other projects as well. N and Ken have been busy with musicals while Hongbin and Hyuk were busy filmings for their upcoming drama/movie.

The boys brought lots of laughs to the concert as well as they’re seen goofing around with each other and mimicking each other. Ken and Hongbin in particular was seen teasing each other a lot. Ken proves to be the energizer of the group as he danced to a couple of girl group songs. He even dragged member, Ravi, with him as they danced to Red Flavour by Red Velvet. Hyuk also proves that he too is an amazing dancer as he danced to Sunmi’s Gashima. The members even had to stop him from dancing which definitely cracked the audience up.

In one segment, N was tasked to back hug each member and say something nice to each of them. As he back-hugged his first victim, Leo, the members were hilarious as they tried their best to avoid getting back-hugged by their fellow leader. In the end, N forced a back-hug with each member and said something nice to each of them.

To Hyuk: “We’re roomates and it’s nice sharing a room with you!”

To Hongbin: “Thank you for touring Singapore with me yesterday!”

To Ken: “Thank you for being so loveble and cute! You are so adorable!”

To Ravi: “I am so glad and happy that you are always by my side!”

VIXX proves their nickname, concept-dols, as they perform each stage amazingly. Each songs and stage was beautifully done and it was entertaining just to see them perform. The fans obviously can’t take their eyes off all of the members whenever they are on stage. The fan chants from the fans obviously does not lose to the energy of the group!

Concerts must always come to an end and it came sooner than later for VIXX’s Shangri-la tour. As the members perform their last few songs, the fans’ energy still remains as high as they cheered and sang along to all the songs.

At the end of the concert, the members of VIXX share their final thoughts and relay their gratitude to the fans. “Can’t believe we’re already coming to the end of 2017 and we were very happy to be coming back to Singapore to celebrate the year-end. Singapore is becoming very familiar to me and I feel very happy to be here now. I am always reading the cheerful messages you guys send through social media and I am looking forward to visiting Singapore again!”, Leo shared.

The whole concert experience was a very entertaining one and the members of VIXX really interacted well with all the fans. They not only showed amazing stages, they also managed to catch up with the fans and play along with their Starlights. As what mentioned at the start of the concert, I am sure all the fans left the concert with full hearts as they bring happy memories from the concert experience with them. I definitely resonate with that!
