Singapore, 2023 – Popular K-pop boy band, ATEEZ, performed for the first time in Singapore at their sold-out show, “The Fellowship: Break The Wall” last night. It was a pity that member Jongho was on hiatus due to an ankle injury. The remaining seven members, Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi and Wooyoung seek understanding from fans and promise to showcase their utmost best to fill the gap.

The concert consisting of 22 songs with breaks in between was an eye-opener for any K-pop fans. ATEEZ’s fans also known as ATINYs’ screams were ear-deafening even before the members of the boy band appeared on stage. Singapore, being the 2^nd last stop of the concert tour was ready to bounce with the boy band.

Starting the night, the stadium lit up in red. ATEEZ opened the show with “Intro” and “HALAZIA” stage. Clad in matching black shimmering outfits, the boy band wowed the crowd with their explosive performance.

During the Intro-ment, the boy band expressed their excitement about performing in Singapore for the very first time, and even made use of some Singlish phrases they picked up! The boy band then proceeded to bring more of their hit songs such as “Answer”, “The Ring” and “HALA HALA”. The energy both ATEEZ and ATINYs displayed was over the roof.

After the first VCR segment, the members returned on stage, all dressed in white, and performed mellifluous tunes such as “Dazzling Light”, “MIST”, “AURORA” and “Sunrise”. Accompanied by ATINY’s waving their LIGHTINY’s (ATEEZ’s official light stick) in concordance was a dazzling scene.

Turning up the night, the members returned on stage dressed in Cyberpunk style after another VCR segment, and brought their latest hit, “Bouncy (K-Hot Chilli Pepper)”. Lucky ATINYs were invited to participate and join the members to do a Bouncy Challenge which was shown on the big screen! The night continued to be heated while the boy band continued their performance of “THANXX” and even did a medley of their older tunes like “Good Lil Boy, The Leaders, and To The Beat” followed by “Say My Name”. The crowd sang along and their fan chants synchronized during the performance.

All good things come to an end, proceeding to the final segment, the members performed Turbulence and Singapore ATINY’s prepared a surprise banner to be held up. The Korean words when translated to English wrote “We’ll meet again no matter how many lifetimes there may be, we promise you”. The members mentioned how they were touched by the message on the banner prepared by Singapore ATINYs. Yunho promised that he would perform for ATINYs no matter how many times he was reborn.

Moving on to the encore segment and performance, the staff brought out standing microphones decorated with flowers for their song “Celebrate”. The members proceeded with the final performance of the hype song “The Real”. With the burst of confetti, all the members and the dancers bowed to the crowd to express their gratitude before the LED screen on stage went down marking the end of the night.

ATEEZ’s visuals, vocals and choreography were precisely executed during the two-and-a-half-hour “The Fellowship: Break The Wall” show. It was a night full of surprises and left the crowd anticipating more. We look forward to meeting ATEEZ again!
