Byeon Woo Seok Opens <The Secret Library> With Singapore Tongtongies After Two Years

Singapore, 2026 – Two years was a long time to wait, but the moment Byeon Woo Seok stepped onto the stage in Singapore, it was as though no time had passed at all.

On 18 September 2026, The Star Theatre welcomed Woo Seok for the Singapore stop of his 2026 Byeon Woo Seok Asia Fanmeeting Tour <The Secret Library>, where he reunited with his Singapore Tongtongies and opened a new collection of memories together.

Making his entrance seated casually on a bench, Woo Seok held a half-heart against his cheek before performing ‘Flower Road‘. The theatre immediately erupted into cheers, a fitting welcome for his first Singapore fanmeeting in two years.

“Hello~ Hello, I’m so excited to see you again after two years. Let’s have fun tonight, okay?” he greeted with a bright smile.

When asked about the possibility of returning to a larger venue, Woo Seok had a simple preference: being closer to his fans. “Don’t you like it when I’m closer to you?”

A Library Of Memories

The concept of The Secret Library centred around revisiting favourite memories while creating new ones with fans. Carrying a stack of books onto the stage, Woo Seok began the evening with The Librarian’s Secret Records, sharing little glimpses into his life and his relationship with Tongtongies.

He revealed that he had recently enjoyed looking back on each fanmeeting after his schedules ended. Compared with his previous visit to Singapore, he also felt more comfortable interacting with fans and was now more at ease looking around the audience and making eye contact with everyone.

The conversation soon turned playful, particularly when Woo Seok was asked about things he could and could not tolerate. His answer? Missing out on sleep. Even when he wanted to eat fruit at night, he admitted that he would choose sleep instead.

The Singapore Tongtongies were quick to offer their own solution, assuring him that fruits were always in season in Singapore. “If that’s the case, then I’ll go and eat some fruits,” he responded.

The sweetest moment of the segment came when Woo Seok was asked to share a secret with Woo Che Tong. After a shy pause, he confessed, “Compared to anyone else, I truly love and am grateful for Woo Che Tong more than anybody in this world. Really.”

He also revealed that hearts had become part of their way of communicating, saying, “I use a lot of ❤️. I send many ❤️❤️❤️.”

From The Stage To The Audience

The fanmeeting soon shifted into a series of interactive segments. Two lucky fans joined Woo Seok on stage to reenact iconic scenes and take Polaroids together, while Woo Seok himself took on a Singlish challenge, attempting “Okay lah~” in different emotions.

He later performed ‘Sudden Shower’ and ‘No Fate‘ before teasing the audience with the words, “I’m coming to see you now,” just before ‘Loveholic.’ Moving around the venue as much as possible during ‘Loveholic,’ he made his way around the theatre to interact with fans, including those seated on the upper levels.

He explained that the lyrics of ‘No Fate‘ had contained a little message for the audience — that he would come to see them. Although he had hoped to visit the second and third floors, safety restrictions prevented him from doing so.

Missions, Chilli Crab And An Egg Roll

The second chapter of the evening brought a series of missions, with Woo Seok embracing the Singapore spirit once again. “Okay lah. Swee lah~” he confidently declared before taking on challenges inspired by his dramas and viral trends.

One of the highlights was the “Catch The Chilli Crab” challenge, a playful nod to the three chilli crabs he had eaten the previous day. “Catch the chilli crab? I ate it yesterday. Didn’t I catch it already?” Woo Seok joked, pointing to his stomach. “It’s inside here. I caught it. Three crabs.”

Using a hand fan, Woo Seok had to move the paper crabs onto plates without touching them. On his second attempt, with fans cheering him on throughout, he successfully landed six crabs on the plates. The challenge left him working up quite a sweat, and he immediately used the hand fan to cool himself down.

The evening then took an even more unexpected turn as Woo Seok became a chef for three lucky fans. Before he started cooking, however, fans had another surprise waiting for him. A bag of clover confetti contained messages written especially for Woo Seok. He began reading the heartfelt notes, including messages thanking him for existing, wishing him happiness and looking forward to his future work. He carefully placed the messages to one side, making sure they were safe.

Dressed in chef attire, he then prepared his signature egg roll while attempting to keep his composure despite a few mishaps along the way.

The first egg immediately betrayed him when he found a piece of eggshell in the bowl. Rather than let everyone see what had happened, he tried to hide it from the camera, prompting laughter from the audience. He admitted that he normally did not make mistakes like that, only to realise that he was making quite a few that night. From the eggshell to a toppled cup, the cooking segment kept the audience laughing, with fans constantly cheering him on as he remained determined to finish the dish.

When the egg roll was finally ready, he carefully served portions to the lucky fans, drawing hearts on their plates and reminding them to eat slowly. He later prepared a plate for himself, drawing a heart with Sriracha that turned out to be the nicest of all, before proudly giving his creation a “10/10”.

The three fans also received Polaroid photos taken with him and signed posters, making the cooking mission a memorable highlight of the evening.

A Promise To Return

As the final pages of The Secret Library approached, the atmosphere became more heartfelt.

During the fan banner project, Tongtongies lifted their banners and sang ‘Sudden Shower‘ for Woo Seok. One banner thanked him for keeping his promise to return to Singapore — a promise he had made during his previous visit.

Woo Seok responded with another promise of his own. “I’ll come back next time, so let’s hang out again. Thank you. I love you.”

After performing ‘Fate Line‘, Woo Seok reflected on his return to Singapore and expressed how much he had enjoyed the evening. “This time without a doubt I had an amazing time.”

He also shared that he had been keeping an eye on the weather, relieved that the expected rain had not disrupted the evening for fans travelling to and from the venue. With a new drama currently in production, Woo Seok asked fans to look forward to his upcoming work and promised to return as soon as he could.

“Let’s see each other again soon. I’ll go off now. Bye bye.”

The library may have closed for the night, but after two years of waiting, Singapore Tongtongies left with a new collection of memories — and another promise from Woo Seok that their next chapter may not be too far away.
