P1Harmony wow-ed the audience with their charm during Singapore concert!

Singapore, 2023P1Harmony finally brought “P1USTAGE H : P1ONEER” Concert Tour to Singapore on 17 September at The Theatre at Mediacorp. There was never a dull moment during the two-and-a-half-hour show.

Since P1Harmony’s debut in 2020, the sextet consisting of member Keeho, Theo, Jiung, Intak, Soul and Jongseob shone with their diversity, and their international fanbase have been growing tremendously. This will be their first time performing on our sunny island and Singapore’s P1ece(P1Harmony’s fandom name; which means that the fans are small pieces coming together to create a full piece, it means that the ‘last piece’ to P1Harmony’s perfection is the fans who are indispensable) are beyond excited to finally meet them.

Starting off the show on a high note, the boy band stepped onto the stage and performed ‘Look At Me Now’, ‘Back Down’ and ‘Scared’. P1ece’s synchronised fan chants and screams filled the theatre. The boy band introduced themselves in English and even added a mix of “Singlish”, igniting laughter from the crowd.

Slowing down the atmosphere, P1Harmony serenaded the audience with ‘Me Too’. The audience waving along to the beats accompanied by the group melodious vocal was a beautiful scenery. Before the next performance, the boys proceeded to do some “skit” which have them telling each other and the crowd “I love you lah”.

The next video interlude showed the group playing a game on the big screen that involves the members completing various tasks like dancing, singing, winking and some tasks even needed the audience’s participation to succeed.

Proceeding to the next segment, the boy band returned with unit stages which showcased more of P1Harmony’s diversity. Theo sang for the audience his cover of the song ‘21 by Dean’, Soul brought us ‘Hug Me by Joon Il Jung’, Keeho belted out ‘Déjà vu by Beyonce’, Jiung performed his version of ‘Love Never Felt So Good by Michael Jackson’ and was joined by Soul and Keeho. Last but not least, Intak and Jongseob showcased their rap skill.

During the next ment, the boy group checked with the crowd how was their energy level, and the screams that returned were proofs that they were still hyped. They had the crowd sing along to some of covers they just performed, and Keeho even up-ed the challenge, showing his R&B style and asked the crowd to try singing along.

Bringing the heat up again, the group brought out more of their hits like ‘Secret Sauce’ and ‘Follow Me’, while the crowd jumped along with the boy band. Keeho commented that because the audience were giving them so much energy, they wanted to return the energy with a surprise but asked the fans not to have too much expectation. He mentioned that as his birthday is in September, they should have a little birthday party together. He had fans who were born in the same month stood up and he even asked if they were sure they are September babies and teased that he will have to see their IDs.

Continuing the night, the boy band performed ‘Gotta Get Back’, ‘Love Me For Me’ and ‘Doom Du Doom’. The audience even did the dance together during the chorus of ‘Gotta Get Back’. Jiung asked Singapore’s P1ece if they love him and the crowd chorused back “Yes’, he then replied that he loves them more.

Arriving at the end of the show, the group came back to the stage after an encore chant. They were dressed in black casual fit and bided farewell to Singapore’s P1ece. The group thanked the fans for their energy and promised that they will return again soon. They exited the stage and when the crowd assumed it was the end, the boy band surprised the audience by returning through the side entrance and went into the crowd as they performed ‘Swagger’.

P1Harmony definitely wow-ed the audience with their impeccable performance, audience engagement, fan service and charm. We are looking forward to meeting P1Harmony in Singapore again soon!

Korean Actor KIM SEON HO charms Singaporean Fans in Group Date at the Final stop of His SOUTHEAST ASIA TOUR 2023

South Korean Actor KIM SEON HO was all smiles when he met with his Singaporean fans for his final stop of his ASIA TOUR 2023 which showcased in STAR THEATER last Friday night, September 15, 2023. The ‘Hometown Cha Cha Cha’ actor brought in much laughter and joy at his first fan meeting in Singapore where fans had a chance to meet the 37-year-old star up close and personal.

Organized as part of his ASIA TOUR, the opportunity set the stage for the Actor showcasing all night long with song performances and various interactive activities he prepared just for his devoted fans — called Seonhohadas.

The actor is best known for his roles in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and Start-Up, which had everyone joining #TeamGoodBoy, Seon Ho recently made his big-screen debut in South Korea neo-noir action thriller called The Childe (2023), where he was praised for his excellent performance for the role as a psychotic mercenary nicknamed “the Nobleman”.

As soon as the stage for his fan meeting opened, KIM SEON HO was greeted loudly as the audiences cheered when he presented his sweet serenade of Paul Kim’s “Every Day Every Moment” in a full black suit, emphasizing his tall, lean figure and handsome features. Despite the language barrier, the actor greeted his fans cheerfully adding many hints of Singlish — the common language in Singapore, showing his fans how much he learned about the Singaporean Culture.

“OPPA! You’re so handsome. SEXY!” a fan cheered so loudly which made SEON HO embarrassed which in return he said, “Thank you La!” which brought audiences to pits of laughter with the actors cute Singlish pronunciation.

The first segment of the show was SEON HO reenacting 3 legendary scenes from his popular dramas — “Start Up”, “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” and “100 days My Prince”, inviting lucky fans to act as his costars. He managed to make one of the fans blushed where she commented “I’m so happy!” the moment the emcee asked how she feels. He also recreated the comical scene in “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” where he took part in a dancing competition along with his co-stars in Gongjin Village. Both the actor and the lucky fan who participated manage to pull off the dance where he mentioned that that scene actually does not have any NG (Not Good Scene), the actor claims, “just go with the feeling”. That hilarious moment received loud laughter and cheers from the audience.

More funny interaction happened during the second segment where he changed into a different outfit — a more comfortable fit, top with a black blazer. As the segment requires him to move a lot since he has prepared games and activities to play with specially invited Seonhohadas from the audience. He went ahead to take off his blazer as he gets more competitive in the segment showing his bare arms, leaving the fans screaming at excitement so loudly. The suddenly not-so-shy actor became aloof and clumsy during the games which made the audience laugh at his silly antics.

If there is one thing that made the fan meeting so special in Singapore was the unique interactions SEON HO had with his audience that night. It must be mentioned that the fellow actor is a natural entertainer despite the language barrier. During the entire show, SEON HO had a specific interaction with a fan at the front row who happen to have a very loud voice, which he mentioned to be very loud that it seems unbelievable. The actor was so concerned over that fan named Anna that he told her to be quiet as it could hurt her voice. The concerned actor made the interaction so funny and told her to “Shuush. Be quiet.” The audience laughed at the adorable interaction.

An honorable mentioned goes to the emcee, Mireen, who hosted the entire show with SEON HO and gave Seonhohadas a wonderful experience at the fan meeting. She really did an excellent job at taking care of Seon Ho by ensuring his safety, well-being and comfortability which proves her capability as an emcee. Not to mentioned her Korean-speaking skills which also impressed Seon Ho himself!

With Singapore being the final stop for his ASIA TOUR, he shares with his fans his favorite food and places of Singapore and would definitely visit after the fan meeting ends. He was spotted hanging at the streets of Singapore casually eating gelato.

As the fan meeting comes to an end, the dimpled actor shares his thoughts and feelings about his ASIA TOUR saying “l had an amazing night. I am glad I can end the fan meeting in Singapore.” He praised Singaporean fans for the loud cheers “until he feels dizzy”.

He promises to come back with more new movies and dramas. Capping off the sweet event with a fan project specially made for SEON HO by Singaporean Seonhohadas which made the actor emotional, although he promised not to cry. He ended the night with his first single called “Reason” by serenading with his sweet voice.

“I am so grateful, and this feels surreal, and I feel that I have succeeded. I made it!”

“Even if the seats are not fully occupied, I will focus on my fans. One single person is meaningful to me. You are precious. It is not about the numbers it is your presence.” He recalled he performed for only 4 members in the audience. The fan meeting was not only capped with the best fan service and also brought happy tears to both the actor and the fans.

Thank you to PULP Live World & Skesh Entertainment for the invitation

BOL4 brought the audience on a journey back to their youth with her vocal

Soloist BOL4, also known as Bolbbalgan4, serenaded fans with her impeccable vocal at The Theatre at Mediacorp on 10th September. Bringing her “Love.zip” tour to our sunny island, this is the first time BOL4 is performing in the country and Singapore’s loBoly (BOL4’s fandom name which is an abbreviation of Lovely+Bol4) are brimming with excitement.

The concert started with BOL4 performing “Love Story” followed by “Tell Me You Love Me”, a hidden track off her RED PLANET album. BOL4 told the audience during the intro-ment that she tried to brushed up on her Singlish prior, and throughout the show she would cutely use the word “lah” when speaking, like “Hello lah”, “Thank you lah”, “I love you lah”.

She also mentioned during her intro-ment that she really wanted to visit the country after her friends shared with her how beautiful the sunny island was. After performing just 2 tracks, she understood why. The energy and reaction from the audience was the reason why they rave about the country.

Continuing the show, she sang “Chase Love Hard”, the fan chant during the performance was loud and synchronised and BOL4 even removed her in-ear to hear it better. Before the next song “You(=I)”, she invited the audience to sing along with her and even rehearsed the “heart dance”. It was truly an incredible sight to see the audience dance in sync. She proceeded to perform “From the beginning You and I”, “Stars over me”, and “Bom” before the end of the first part.

The next part of the show begins with BOL4 surprising the audience by appearing in the crowd. She performed “When love becomes goodbye” and “Mermaid” while strolling among the audience. Blue and purple light filled the space. She even received a flower from a fan. BOL4 explained that she wanted to sing “Mermaid” among fans because it’s a “fan song”, and she wanted to deliver a message to tell fans she always wants to stay close to them.

Switching up the atmosphere after another short break, BOL4 returned to the stage with an outfit change into a casual fit. The melody became more upbeat, and she hyped the crowd to stand up for her performance of the song “Rome”, “Seattle Along”, “Workholic”, “Travel” and her hit song “Some”. She even came down the stage again so that the audience can see her up close.

Proceeding to the last segment of the night, she sat by the side of the stage and serenaded the crowd with the song “Galaxy”. She thanked fans for always staying by her and introduced her band. She then took in request from fans and sang some of her older tunes such as “Butterfly Effect”, “Fix Me”, “XX”. BOL4 jokingly mentioned that the fans are testing her memory as she can’t recall some of the lyrics.

As the show comes towards the end, she walked around the stage and posed for fans to take photos to be kept as memories. When she back-faced the audience, the LED screen played the fan project VCR that Singapore’s loBoly prepared for her. BOL4 teared up while watching the VCR and loBoly even sang her a birthday song in Korean as her birthday is coming up in a few days.

She pinky-promised fans that she will return with better songs and better performance and proceeded to perform her last songs of the night, “To My Youth” and “Goodnight”. It was indeed a night worth reminiscing and we look forward to meeting BOL4 again!
