Singapore, 2016 – The fourth stop of tvN original production in Asia, M.U.S.T (My Unexpected Sweet Trip), is happening in Singapore, where Korean model and “it girl” – Irene Kim – discovers the true beauty of the Lion City and explores the city like a real local.
Irene hosts her very first house party in Singapore on 10th Oct, inviting media friends across the city to come to a luxurious mansion in Sentosa. During the party, Irene describes vividly about her adventures within the city, “I have been travelling to various cities for M.U.S.T travel series, including my home town, Seoul, and the exotic Bangkok. Shooting in Singapore is a whole new experience for me – it is a FUNtastic trip!”

Irene is FUN
tvN has arranged multiple activities for Irene to play under the sun and embrace her inner child, including bike rides at Pulau Ubin; day trip to the Amusement Parks and Aquarium; and extreme sports – indoor sky diving, to experience true free-fall conditions. “I am an outdoorsy kind of girl, I love to go out and feel the nature. Before coming to shoot for M.U.S.T, I thought Singapore would be another concrete jungle. But turns out it is the GREENEST City! I am so amused by the Gardens by the Bay, by what they are trying to preserve. The Supertree show is just superb and relaxing.”
Irene is LOCAL
To stay away from the busy city life, Irene stays in Sentosa instead, where she can be close to the beach and nature. “I am staying at Amara Sanctuary in Sentosa, it’s like heaven there. I see peacocks walking around the premises and I can just walk into the pool which is right next to my room, how cool can it be?” When she is not staying in her hotel room, Irene travels to some of the local’s favourite spots, such as the beloved ethnic enclaves, Chinatown, Arab Street, Haji Lane and Little India, where she checks out the unique and exotic sceneries of this multi-cultural city.

Irene is FOOD & FASHION
As a world-class model, fashion takes up a great portion in Irene’s life. When in town, she won’t miss any chance to go shopping. “I know Orchard Road is Asia’s most famous shopping street, with a lot of high-end shopping malls. I have spent quite some time in Scotts Square, in particular, it has all my favourite brands there.” Different from other supermodels, Irene is not as strict as others, in terms of dieting. “I love food, I want to try all the restaurants, from gourmet meals to local delicacies, here in Singapore. The chili crab, kaya toast, satays… just talking about them makes my mouth water!”
tvN launches M.U.S.T travel programme aiming at bringing audience a kaleidoscopic view of various cities, with a touch of fun, style and extravagance. In the Singapore series, Irene explores the city with Cho Min-Ho, to discover the fun, foodie and fashionista side of the Lion City.
M.U.S.T – Singapore will premiere exclusively on tvN in Asia-Pacific on 3 November at 10:30 pm (GMT+8).
