Singapore, 2016 – Leading travel retailer The Shilla Duty Free Singapore invited popular Hallyu star, Lee Kwang Soo, also affectionately known as the “Asia Prince” for his huge South East Asian fan base amassed from popular Korean variety show Running Man, to celebrate the first anniversary of Shilla Beauty Loft at the Singapore Changi Airport.
This marks Lee Kwang Soo’s first appearance as a brand ambassador for The Shilla Duty Free in Singapore. During the closed door press conference, the amicable Korean celebrity charmed the Singapore and regional media with his charismatic personality as he shared his thoughts on being the appointed face of the global duty free store, as well as his excitement at visiting Singapore.
As part of its first anniversary celebrations, Shilla Beauty Loft has partnered with three luxury beauty powerhouses, Dior, La Prairie and SK II to launch new Travel Ready beauty services that are available to travellers from October to December 2016. The sessions have been thoughtfully tailored into 20 minutes of quality enjoyment to better fit the flight schedules of busy travellers.
When asked to share his thoughts on the newly curated Shilla Beauty Loft services, Lee Kwang Soo brightly remarked, “Now travellers can feel more rejuvenated and recharged after long flights! Once again, Shilla has delivered another thoughtful service for their beloved customers.”
Following the closed door press conference, The Shilla Duty Free Singapore also organised a highly anticipated public autograph session for Lee Kwang Soo at the Changi Airport Terminal 3 Departure Hall, which was thronged by an immense group of Singapore fans who were excited to catch a glimpse of their favourite Korean star up close and personal.
Lee Kwang Soo pulled many heartstrings with his humorous and affable fan service, and the lucky fans received the rare chance to interact with the Korean entertainer on stage. The interactive nature of the autograph session also gave zealous fans the golden opportunity to take photographs with him.
