Jakarta, 2017 – The Global Taste of Korea will be visiting Indonesia! The event will be held in order to introduce Korean Food or K-Food more widely to Indonesian.
The event which is titled Global Taste of Korea “Hansik Contest” UNJ K-Food Campus Festival 2017 organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Korea, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of Republic of Korea, Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, Korean Cultural Center Indonesia, and Korean Food Foundation. The event will be opened directly by the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Indonesia, Cho Taiyoung.
The main event is a Korean cuisine cooking contest. The finalists have been selected through an online preliminary round by submitting a video to the Facebook page of the UNJ K-Food Campus Festival 2017. To act as one of the judges is the Wife of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Indonesia.
UNJ K-Food Campus Festival 2017 will take place on 18 – 19 May 2017 at Jakarta State University (UNJ) at Rawamangun. The event will open on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 10:00 Indonesia Time, located in the field area next to UNJ Library Building.
In addition to the cooking contest which is a highlight, this event will be enlivened by free K-Food tasting, Korean traditional art performance and K-Pop Cover Dance, activities in various booths, and games with prizes. On the first day, there will be a fan meeting with Korean artist Thunder (Park Sang-Hyun).
