Hong Kong, 2023 – 3 years since they visited Hong Kong, MAMAMOO returns to hold a 2-day concert “MAMAMOO WORLD TOUR [MY CON] – HONG KONG”. On the night of Jan 7th, the auditorium was filled for the sold-out concert and amongst the audience included Hong Kong Star Joyce Cheng. Many MooMoos (fans of MAMAMMO) came in costumes to support their idols.
Donned in gorgeous black and white stage attire, MAMAMOO Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa started the concert with hit songs 1,2,3 EOI! and Mr. Ambiguous.
During the self-introduction section, MAMAMOO greeted the audience with Cantonese phrases they had prepared prior, which was well received by the audience. MAMAMOO also mentioned that they were aware that the concert tickets for the first day were sold out really quickly and therefore had the idea of adding an extra day.
During the encore, the members changed into casual street performance attires. When performing Travel, Solar and Moonbyul took out their phone to take photos with the audience making their interaction more memorable. Finally, under the enthusiastic atmosphere of the hit song Um Oh Ah Yeh, the members greeted the audience and thanked everyone for their presence and support in Cantonese. We are sure that the audience had a great time that night with the splendid performance by the quartet and we look forward to them coming to Hong Kong again!
