Hong Kong, 2023 – In order to showcase Miu Miu’s popular, distinctive personality and unique style, the brand has invited its friends to choose their favorite ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, jewelry and glasses from the new season’s works, each of which is carefully matched with exclusive brand names to form a very personal style of the Miu Miu Select collection. On March 16, 2023, Miu Miu Select and Minnie, a member of the Korean girl group (G)I-dle, landed in Hong Kong for the first time.
To celebrate Minnie’s exclusive Miu Miu Select collection from the Spring/Summer 2023 collection, Miu Miu hosted a reception party at the Landmark store. The event specially invited Minnie to meet fans in Hong Kong. Other celebrities invited included: Elva Ni, Jeannie Ng Ka Yan, Hilary Tsui, Martin Wong Chi Hin, Kenji Fan, Hanna Chan, Heidi Lee Ching Yee, fashionista Faye Tsui, stylist Mayao Ma and urban celebrities Evelyn Lam, Victoria Tang-Owen, Feiping Chang and many more. The night’s party ended with music from DJ Subi Yeti and Jerry Haha.
Since May 2019, Miu Miu Select had been launched in multiple cities, inviting friends from different brands to collaborate, including model and designer Georgia May Jagger (London), actor, director, model and fashion designer Chloë Sevigny ( New York), stylist and fashion blogger Veronika Heilbrunner (Moscow), model Poppy Delevingne (Milan), model and designer Alexa Chung (Tokyo), model Jessica Kahawaty (Dubai), artist Yang Chaoyue (Shanghai) and Singer Clara Luciani (Paris) and others.
In 2022, Miu Miu Select landed in Dubai with Lebanese singer and visual artist Dana Hourani and in Singapore with fashion blogger Yoyo Cao. It was followed by Milan with model, actor and mental health campaigner Adwoa Aboah, Tokyo with model and stylist Lotta Volkova, and finally New York with actor Sydney Sweeney. As always, the Miu Miu Landmark store will display Minnie’s exclusive Miu Miu Select collection, each with a custom Minnie label.
For a perfect personalized presentation, each item would be tagged with Minnie’s autograph, exclusive shopping bag, and gift boxed during the event. All products will be available exclusively at LANDMARK stores and MiuMiu.com from now until March 31, in a specially designed Miu Miu Select packaging.
