Headlined by KUN & DAESUNG, 2026 AsiaTop Music Festival Day 1 Delivers an Explosive Audio-Visual Extravaganza

Malaysia, 2026 – On May 30, the 2026 AsiaTop Music Festival, presented by Hong Leong Bank, officially opened at the Sepang International Circuit, Selangor, Malaysia. Co-organized by JOOX and QQ Music – leading music streaming platforms under Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME) , the festival’s first day was headlined by KUN and DAESUNG. The star-studded lineup also featured top K‑pop acts NMIXX and WINNER, Thai superstar Win Metawin, Malaysian vocal powerhouse Aina Abdul, Malaysian music producer Belle Sisoski, and rising rookie group NexT1DE. Blending diverse musical styles with powerful vocal performances, the festival delivered a world-class audio-visual spectacle where heartbeats and melodies resonated as one.

As spotlights cut through the sky, waves of sound instantly ignited the crowd. Rising group NexT1DE opened the show with clear, youthful vocals, performing hits from their anniversary album including Reckless, Da Bu Liao(大不了), and Still Here, filling the stage with vibrant energy and kicking off Day 1 in passionate sincerity.

Next, Malaysian vocalist Aina Abdul took the stage, delivering heartfelt classics such as Imaji and Kamu with delicate, expressive vocals that struck a deep chord with the audience.

Known as a “one‑woman band”, Belle Sisoski skillfully blended traditional Southeast Asian folk music with modern electronic beats, setting the crowd dancing with high-energy tracks INSOMNIA and FOCUS.

As the atmosphere continued to build, Thai heartthrob Win Metawin captivated everyone with his warm, magnetic voice, performing fan favorites Ten Years Later and Night Ride.

The energy kept rising. Dynamic girl group NMIXX stormed the stage with their signature genre-bending performances, showcasing sharp choreography and solid vocals on Heavy Serenade and Blue Valentine, raising the crowd’s pulse to new heights.

Fan-favorite boy band WINNER sparked a massive sing-along, sweeping the venue with romantic hits LOVE ME LOVE ME and I LOVE YOU. Following their fresh, breezy performance of Island, signed balls were launched into the crowd, sending joy and excitement surging through the venue.

When the iconic tiger-claw support VJ visuals lit up the stage, legendary artist DAESUNG made his grand entrance. With his rich, powerful rock vocals, he performed timeless classics including Universe, Beautiful Life, and Look at Me, Gwisun. Confetti and support banners filled the air, creating a deeply moving moment celebrating the 20th anniversary of BIGBANG, etching an unforgettable memory into every heart.

As the final act of the night, Chinese artist KUN took the stage amid thunderous cheers. With extraordinary stage aesthetics and narrative-driven performances, he transformed Deadman, Colder, and other signature tracks into a living artistic experience, crafting an immersive sonic world. A true stage master, he drew the entire crowd into his musical storytelling, pushing the atmosphere of Day 1 to its breathtaking peak.
