Singapore, 2026 – Viu, PCCW’s leading video streaming service, today announced the upcoming premiere of its first Singapore-made microdrama, Seven Days Reborn, launching on 25 June 2026 across Viu markets in Asia, Middle East and South Africa.

Produced by King Kong Media Productions and directed by Jaex Chan, Seven Days Reborn brings together Singapore talents Mark Lee and Tasha Low, and South Korea’s actor Kang Yul, who is known for his roles in Revenge of Others (2022), Dragon Inn Part 1: The City of Sadness (2022), and Best Mistake (2019).

Seven Days Reborn was filmed entirely in Singapore on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, leveraging advanced mobile filmmaking capabilities such as Super Steady Horizontal Lock for smoother action shots, Nightography Video for enhanced low-light capture, Pro Camera mode for greater cinematic control, and its 200MP wide camera sensor enhanced by the ProVisual Engine – delivering premium production quality optimised for short-form storytelling.

Seven days to rewrite fate
Kai Qian (Tasha Low), an investigative reporter, is killed after uncovering the crimes of Cao Junye (Mark Lee), the powerful CEO of South Korea’s “K Media Group.” She is reborn seven days after her death, returning to the moment she first crossed paths with him. Determined to change her fate, she teams up with Interpol agent Han Dao Xun (Kang Yul) to bring Cao to justice. As the truth unfolds, they must navigate deception and shifting timelines, where every decision could mean the difference between survival and history repeating itself. Blending investigative suspense with time-loop premise, Seven Days Reborn explores themes of justice, second chances and moral courage in a fast-paced, bite-sized format designed for on-the-go viewing.
