Singapore, 2026 – “I say mama mama moo~” This unmistakable greeting rang through the arena once more, as MAMAMOO made their long-awaited return to the Lion City as part of their <4WARD> World Tour, delighting Singapore Moomoos with a night packed with powerhouse vocals, playful banter, and heartfelt moments.
The quartet opened strong with ‘Mr. Ambiguous’, the very track that marked the beginning of their journey as a group, sending the arena into an early frenzy as fans sang along from the first note. ‘Destiny’ and ‘Egotistic’ quickly followed, setting the tone for a night that would move seamlessly between nostalgia and full-throttle energy.
Leader Solar took a moment to welcome the crowd, thanking Moomoos for coming out and hoping everyone would leave without any regrets. She also shared the meaning behind the tour’s name, explaining that <4WARD> reflects the group’s wish to keep moving forward together with their fans, a line that drew loud cheers before the group launched into ‘4x4ever’ and ‘Piano Man’.
The vocal highlight of the night’s early stretch came with ‘Décalcomanie’, where the members’ harmonies filled the arena as Moomoos sang every word back to them. In an unscripted moment of charm, the timing briefly slipped mid-song, yet the members stayed perfectly in sync with each other even while off-beat, catching each other’s eye and laughing before carrying the song through to the end.

Between songs, the group paused to soak in the size of the crowd. Moonbyul pointed out the sea of fans stretching across the venue, while Wheein admitted she was taken aback that every single seat was filled. Moonbyul made sure to greet Moomoos seated all the way up on the third floor, ensuring no corner of the arena was left out of the celebration, before the group pushed on with ‘I Miss You’ and ‘Starry Night’.
A short animated VCR, “Little Fairy Friends,” gave fans a glimpse of the members voicing their own animated characters, a segment Solar later teased as the only time all night Moomoos would get to see their “cute side.” The group then shifted gears with a trot rendition of ‘Taller Than You’ in shimmering blazers, ‘Sleep In The Car’, and a nostalgic medley of ‘AZE GAG’, ‘Waggy’, ‘NEW YORK’, ‘Freakin Shoes’ and ‘Baton Touch’. ‘Waggy’ brought out the group’s playful side in full force, with the members donning quirky headbands and cute backpacks. Moonbyul couldn’t resist pointing out Hwasa’s crab-shaped headband with a cheeky “chilli crab,” which Solar happily co-signed with her own “I love chilli crab,” sending the crowd into laughter.
The banter continued as Moonbyul brought back the familiar Singapore song “Singapura~ Singapura,” prompting fans to sing it back in unison. The unexpected response left Wheein and Moonbyul laughing, as they discovered that Singapore Moomoos knew just as little of the lyrics as they did. Before moving into ‘Baton Touch’, Solar revealed it held special meaning as a track from the group’s debut album, playfully swearing the crowd to secrecy with an emphatic “please shh.” Moonbyul immediately pointed out that it sounded “very polite yet very firm,” then repeated Solar’s “please shh” in her own playful way, drawing laughter from both the members and the crowd.

The night’s solo stages gave each member room to shine individually. Hwasa made a striking entrance from the crowd for ‘So Cute’, Wheein brought raw emotion to ‘The Symphony of Fxxkboys’, Moonbyul started her performance for ‘Hertz’ from the middle of the audience, and Solar closed out the segment with the powerful vocals of ‘Blues’. Following the solo stages, one part of the VCR featured the members taking on a signature pose challenge. Whenever a member’s name was called, everyone had to quickly strike that member’s signature pose. The chaotic mix of mismatched and half-remembered poses had the crowd laughing throughout.
The group then barreled through the back half of the setlist with ‘4 Flowers’, ‘AYA’ and a fierce rendition of ‘HIP’ that had the whole arena on its feet, followed by fan favourites ‘Dingga’ and ‘gogobebe’, both of which saw MAMAMOO move closer to the crowd for up-close interaction. Solar checked in with the audience throughout, at one point reminding fans that “our concert is really never over until it’s over” as the group kept the momentum alive through ‘Wind Flower’. This was followed by a sing-along of ‘Girl Crush’ and ‘L.I.E.C’, where Moomoos sang along with lyrics displayed on screen while joining in with the Moobong choreography. MAMAMOO then returned for ‘You’re the Best’, starting the song from the opposite end of the venue and bringing the show closer to fans seated on the upper levels before making their way through the crowd while performing and returning to the main stage.
As the night edged toward its close, Solar reflected on the bond built with Singapore Moomoos over the evening and invited fans to mark the moment with a group photo. Singapore Moomoos, in turn, surprised the group with a fan project video, a slogan banner project, and a cake with the message “Welcome back, our 4Flowers! May you bloom beautifully in Singapore!” Wheein admitted she nearly teared up watching the fan-made video, while Solar got visibly flustered by the flower-shaped cake, laughing “Also, it’s a flower cake. Thank you. I’m sorry, I don’t really know,” clearly unsure how to react to the sweetness of it all. Moonbyul and Hwasa each took turns expressing their thanks too, with Hwasa closing with a warm “Love you lah~” that had the crowd cheering.

MAMAMOO brought the main set to a close with ‘Um Oh Ah Yeh’, with Solar and Hwasa delivering their final goodbyes to the crowd. But Moomoos weren’t ready to let go just yet, and the encore chants genuinely seemed to catch the members off guard. Moonbyul froze and asked “What did you say?” as if she couldn’t quite believe her ears, while Solar broke into disbelieving laughter once it clicked. “Oh, encore. What should we do? Oh my gosh, we have something unexpected happened,” she said, before dramatically declaring, “We’re in trouble,” as if the four of them hadn’t planned on giving Moomoos exactly what they wanted all along. After a mock huddle to “decide,” Solar threw the question back to the crowd, “Shall we do an encore? Are you ready!!” MAMAMOO then returned to the stage for one last song, ‘Yes I Am’, sending the night off on a high note. After the performance, the members shared a heartfelt moment with Singapore Moomoos, expressing their gratitude for the love and memories they had created together throughout the night.
The evening closed with one final VCR, showing behind-the-scenes footage of the members recording voiceovers for their animated segments earlier in the show, a fittingly cute and funny send-off to a night defined by powerhouse performances, easy humour, and the clear warmth between MAMAMOO and their Singapore Moomoos.
