15 November 2023 – MAMAMOO+, the official sub-unit of award-winning K-pop girl group MAMAMOO which comprises of main vocalist Solar and rapper Moon Byul, successfully held their first fan concert “TWO RABBITS CODE” at The Star Theater. The venue was filled with fans who have missed the duo dearly since their last show back in February.
The concert started with a short piece of Aniri, which refers to the narration or spoken elements of traditional pansori, a Korean genre of musical storytelling. With the cheering of their fans, the girls appeared on stage performing “CHICO MALO” from their first single album, Act 1, Scene 1. They greeted the fans warmly, saying that they missed Singapore Moomoo (fans of MAMAMOO) so much and is glad to be back again. As the announced dress code for Singapore was red, Solar jokingly said that everyone blended in with the red chairs therefore she couldn’t see them clearly. She mentioned that they have prepared a lot for this concert and hope everyone can have fun till the end.

The duo showcased their impressive vocals and harmony with “I LIKE THIS”, “STARRY NIGHT”, “STARRY SEA” and “BADA BOOM”. While performing the song “GGBB”, technical errors caused the songs to be interrupted. However, they showed professionalism and continued the remaining parts without music accompaniment.

During the solo stages, Solar blew the audience away with “ADRENALINE”, a song from the Vincenzo OST and she captivated the fans with her flawless high notes. She also performed her solo hits “SPIT IT OUT” and “HONEY”.

Moon Byul showed her stunning vocals through the song “DDU DDU DDU” and “SHUTDOWN”, which was released in her second extended play and she also performed “C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)”. She charmed the fans with her cuteness and smooth dance moves.

An interactive segment, “TWO RABBITS CARD CORNER” was specially prepared by the duo where fans can raise either the white or green card to match the answers of the members. A total of three questions will be asked and their aim is to match at least two questions. If they succeed, they will be able to present the fans with a gift. For the first question on choosing to take photos at only one of Singapore’s representative photo spots, both Solar and Moon Byul chose ‘Eating Marina Bay Sands as if it’s a baguette’ over ‘Drinking water from the Merlion Statue’. Moon Byul explained that she thought posing as if to eat a baguette would be easier.
The second question was to choose between ‘Chilli Crab’ or ‘Pepper Crab’ and undoubtedly, both of them together with 90% of the audience chose ‘Chilli Crab’. Solar asked the fans if they like chilli crab and if they will eat it everyday and fans replied they like it but no as it’s too expensive. She wittily commented in English, “Ah, expensive… Singapore please, cheaper cheaper!”
For the last question, it was to choose the song which they want to hear Singapore Moomoos singing along to. They didn’t match this time round, Solar chose ‘TWO RABBITS’ whereas Moon Byul chose ‘DANGDANG’. Moon Byul explained that she believes Singapore Moomoos will know the song and might have practice beforehand, therefore she wants to hear it. The duo then sang the chorus of ‘DANGDANG’ together with Singapore Moomoos.
As they managed to win the game, they prepared the random dance challenge as a gift for the fans. They also surprised the fans with a dance medley of k-pop hits such as “SPICY”, “QUEENCARD” , “SUPER SHY” and “I AM”.

After singing “SAVE ME”, “I LOVE YOU TOO” and “LLL”, Moon Byul expressed that they felt so ecstatic to be able to visit Singapore fans, they will never forget all the love they received and make sure to pay back to them. While she was talking, she spotted some fans pulling out something below their seats. She teased the fans, saying “Did you all miss the timing?” and the fans laughed it off. She told Solar that they should close their eyes and turn their backs so that the fans can prepare it again. The fans then managed to raise their banners successfully, with the words “I have always loved you, I love you and I will love you so let us make sure to be with each other forever.” Both of them were touched by the sweet gestures and expressed their gratitude. Solar urged the fans to stay healthy so that they can see each other for a longer time.
When they finished singing the “last” two songs “TWO RABBITS” and “DANGDANG”, fans shouted for an encore and they returned to the stage singing “DINGGA” and “PROMISE YOU”. The duo even went down the stage to interact with their beloved fans. They then ended the concert perfectly with the hit song “UM OH AH YEH”.
