XLOV Turns Singapore Concert into a Celebration of Confidence, Connection and Being Yourself

Singapore, 2026 – The energy was unmistakable from the moment fans began filling the venue. Dressed to impress and ready to cheer, XLOV’s Singapore fans brought an enthusiasm that matched the group’s own, and it did not take long for the four members to give that energy right back.

Making their first visit to Singapore, XLOV, consisting of Haru, Hyun, Wumuti and Rui, opened the night with a clear promise: they were going to give the audience everything they had.

“Since this is our first time in Singapore, we’re gonna give everything we’ve got,” they declared, immediately setting the tone for an evening that was equal parts performance, laughter and heartfelt conversations.

A cheer battle between different sections of the venue had fans competing to see who could make the most noise, while the members repeatedly praised their enthusiasm. Haru, in particular, thanked the audience for shouting and encouraging them during their songs.

But beyond the cheers and polished performances, one of the most memorable aspects of the concert was XLOV’s ability to turn difficult experiences into moments of humour, encouragement and connection.

During a playful “diss” segment, the members invited fans to share their complaints and frustrations, responding with dramatic, and often hilarious, comebacks. From people who constantly meddle in their business to colleagues who talk behind their backs, no complaint was too petty for XLOV.

One of the responses took a rather reflective turn: “Why do you live life that way? Why do you live in that way? I’m asking because I’m curious. If you can’t answer that, don’t live like that.”

The segment eventually became a reminder not to let other people’s words define your sense of self. When one fan became emotional, the members encouraged everyone to hug themselves and tell themselves that they were beautiful.

It was a fitting message for a group whose performances and interactions consistently revolve around individuality and self-confidence.

XLOV’s stage presence was equally captivating. Their performances were filled with energy and sharp choreography, while special duo stages gave Haru and Hyun, followed by Wumuti and Rui, opportunities to showcase their individual chemistry.

The night also included plenty of lighter moments. During a special performance where the members switched parts, Hyun repeatedly questioned, “Is this right?” as the four struggled hilariously to remember each other’s parts. They bumped into one another, lost their bearings and turned the performance into an unexpectedly chaotic highlight.

Rui later declared, “I think I did better than expected,” although Wumuti was quick to disagree when fans named Rui as the best performer. According to Wumuti, Rui simply performed with confidence, not necessarily with the best execution.

A dance battle later added another dose of friendly competition to the evening.

Between the laughter, XLOV also shared small pieces of advice with their fans. Asked about habits they would recommend, Haru suggested screaming when happy, and even when frustrated, as a way of releasing emotions. Hyun’s solution was considerably simpler: “Just run!”

Haru also reminded fans that, despite being adults, “we need to keep our hearts like babies”, while Rui offered a quieter piece of advice: make your bed as soon as you wake up. “The person who takes care of smaller details will become a bigger person,” they said.

The most poignant moment came when Wumuti spoke about XLOV’s journey and the path they have chosen.

“I promise you guys, XLOV will keep going,” they told the audience. “This path that we choose is not easy and I know it’s not gonna be easy next year but we will try harder.”

They continued by expressing the group’s desire to show people that there is “this new lifestyle and new type of people”, and that there is beauty in being different.

It was a statement that encapsulated much of what made the evening feel special. XLOV were not simply performing for their fans; they were creating a space where individuality, self-expression and vulnerability could exist alongside music and laughter.

There was also something new on the horizon. After teasing fans about how much of their upcoming release they could reveal without breaking their contract, the group confirmed that XLOV would be returning with new music on October 28.

“The new song is gonna be fire also,” they promised. “We work very hard for it.”

The members were visibly touched when they noticed that the audience had changed their light colours to match XLOV’s colours. Wumuti, who had made an effort to speak in English during the evening, expressed their gratitude at the gesture.

For a group making its first appearance in Singapore, the response was a strong indication that the feeling was mutual.

XLOV’s Singapore stop ultimately felt less like a conventional concert and more like a gathering built around community. There were high-energy performances, chaotic games, dance battles and plenty of laughter, but underneath it all was a consistent message: be yourself, take care of yourself, and do not allow other people’s opinions to diminish who you are.

As XLOV prepares for its next chapter, Singapore fans were given more than a glimpse of what is to come. They were reminded why they connected with the group in the first place, and given another reason to look forward to October 28.
