BOL4 returns to Singapore as part of her 2025 Asia Tour Concert <Bloom>

Singapore, 2025 – BOL4, also known as “Bolbbalgan4” (볼빨간사춘기), which translates to “Blushing Youth,” debuted under Shofar Entertainment in April 2016 with her first mini album, Red Ickle. With her unique voice and talent for crafting meaningful, resonant lyrics, BOL4 has captured the hearts of many, solidifying her place in the music industry over her remarkable eight-year career. Just two years after her successful Asia tour in 2023, she returned to Singapore this January to reunite with her fans, affectionately known as “LoBolys,” at The Theatre at Mediacorp.

Returning after two years, Ahn Ji-Young, the sole member of BOL4, candidly shared her feelings of apprehension. “I was worried a lot because I haven’t been able to see you guys for two years,” she confessed. “But the moment I arrived, I received a cake and a collection of letters from all my fans, which made me realize, ‘Oh, my Singapore fans didn’t forget me!’” Her heartfelt words resonated with the audience, who cheered loudly in response, demonstrating their unwavering love and support.

The concert opened with fan-favorite tracks Galaxy and You and I From the Beginning, setting an electrifying tone for the evening. Ji-Young then took a moment to interact with the audience. Before performing her hit song You, she taught the crowd how to dance along, even inviting a fan to lead the choreography. Watching the fan dance, she laughed in delight, exclaiming, “The cutest person to ever do the dance!” When it came time to perform, the audience didn’t disappoint, enthusiastically dancing along. The energy in the room was infectious, and the moment remains unforgettable.

One of the most memorable highlights was her performance of Some, a personal favorite. The entire audience sang along, their voices echoing throughout the venue. Ji-Young beamed with admiration before cheekily exclaiming, “Shiok lah!”—a charming attempt at Singlish that had the audience erupting in laughter. Throughout the evening, she sprinkled more Singlish phrases, such as “Swee lah!” endearing herself even further to her fans.

Ji-Young not only showcased her vocal prowess but also made a conscious effort to engage and entertain her fans. Before performing Travel, she involved the audience in creating a unique fanchant. After some back-and-forth brainstorming, they settled on the phrase “Love you lah,” a special nod to Singaporean culture. The result? A powerful, unified chant that reverberated through the venue as everyone jumped and sang along.

During the encore, Ji-Young asked the audience what songs they wanted to hear, causing a frenzy of excited shouts. Eventually, she turned to the fan who had danced earlier and asked him to choose. He picked Space, and Ji-Young nodded, saying, “I heard Space is really popular in Singapore!” Fans also clamored for Chase Love Heart, and, in a display of generosity, she performed both songs. This gesture left the audience ecstatic and further demonstrated her commitment to making her fans happy.

As the concert drew to a close, Ji-Young made one final heartfelt request. “Make a promise with me! Promise me that you’ll come back next time. I’m pretty sure I’ll keep my promise, but I’m not sure about you guys!” she teased, playfully pouting. Her adorable demeanor melted the hearts of her fans, who no doubt will eagerly await her return. She ended the night with Dandelion, her beautiful voice leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

Ahn Ji-Young shone brightly during her Bloom concert in Singapore, captivating the audience with her incredible vocals, infectious energy, and endearing personality. Her connection with her fans, coupled with her efforts to embrace local culture, made the evening truly special. As she promised, we look forward to her next visit—and I, for one, can’t wait to be dancing to You alongside her again!

AMPERS&ONE [&Dear My First_] Fan Meeting in Singapore

Singapore, 2024AMPERS&ONE (앰퍼샌드원) is a 7-member boy group under FNC Entertainment, consisting of KamdenBrianJihoSiyunMackiahKyrell, and Seungmo. They made their debut on November 15, 2023 with their first single album, AMPERSAND ONE. The first international stop of “2025 AMPERS&ONE FAN MEETING ‘&Dear. My First _’” is right here in Singapore!

The fan meeting began with a nostalgic flashback concept. The members appeared on stage in school uniforms, transporting fans back to their debut as they role-played as their fans’ new classmates. Who wouldn’t love to have the members of AMPERS&ONE as classmates? True to the theme, the first “assignment” was self-introductions. Their introductions were creative and unforgettable—an A+ effort, for sure!

In addition to their playful antics, the members displayed their versatility by performing a variety of songs. They started with a cute and sweet track called Sheesh, followed by upbeat songs like On and On that showcased their bright and youthful energy. Fans were also treated to a live performance of Over the Moon, a song they had never performed live before, making it a special moment for everyone in attendance.

The group showed different sides of their talent by splitting into two teams for cover performances. Kamden, Jiho, Mackiah, and Seungmo delivered a powerful rendition of TXT’s Good Boy Gone Bad, oozing charisma. Meanwhile, Brian, Siyun, and Kyrell charmed the audience with a cheerful and adorable version of TWS’s Plot Twist. Both performances captivated fans and highlighted the group’s range and appeal.

As this was their first-ever fan meeting in Singapore, the members ensured there were plenty of fan interactions. One highlight was a trivia game that tested fans’ knowledge of AMPERS&ONE. Fans who answered correctly had the chance to win exclusive prizes, including signed Polaroids of the members—an unforgettable keepsake for the eight lucky winners!

The fan meeting also coincided with member Siyun’s birthday, which made the event even more special. The members expressed their love by shouting, “Siyun, we love you!” and shared a heartfelt group hug on stage, prompting the entire audience to react with a collective “aww.”

There were plenty of lighthearted moments as well. During a dance challenge, Mackiah was supposed to dance cutely, but fans quickly agreed it was more “sexy” than “cute.” In response, Mackiah cheekily said, “I can make anything sexy,” sending the audience into fits of laughter.

With some members hailing from the United States and Canada, they effortlessly conversed with fans in English. They even incorporated local Singlish phrases like “alamak” and “swee lah,” which delighted the crowd and made the fan meeting even more personal and memorable.

After hours of laughter and admiration, the fan meeting came to a bittersweet end. “I really want to have fun with &dear all night long, but we do not have time,” the members said wistfully. They concluded the event with an emotional performance of their song Fly, leaving fans moved and already anticipating the next time they can see AMPERS&ONE.

It was an unforgettable experience, and fans left the venue with smiles, laughter, and the hope of meeting AMPERS&ONE again soon.

During the intermission, the trio addressed the audience while inserting Singlish like “I love you lah” and “I miss you lah” in their speeches. Not forgetting to mention their undying love for Singapore’s Chilli and Pepper Crab and how they went to eat it almost immediately after they landed. The band continued the show with ‘Imagine’, ‘Love Light’, ‘You’re so fine’ and other hits. Singapore BOICEs prepared a surprise project and the stadium was filled with a sea of coloured lights. After the performance, Jungshin brought up that there is a dress code for their tour and asked if the audience were dressed in blue before proceeding to check on his bandmates. The crowd burst into laughter when he pointed out Yonghwa’s mic is blue before Yonghwa clarified that it’s actually purple.

Their next set consisted of ‘Love Cut’, ‘99%’, ‘Lady’ and ‘Coffee Shop’ before bringing fans down the memory lane with a melodious tone. The band serenated the crowd with ‘Time Capsule’, ‘Winter again’, ‘Till then’, ‘Hide and Seek’ and ‘Cinderella’.

Turning up the night, CNBLUE performed ‘In my head’, ‘I’m sorry’, ‘Radio’ and ‘Between Us’. Audience in the seated area stood up and jumped along to the beats. It was electrifying to be among the crowd as the show peaked.

When the band returned for a double encore, Yonghwa even went down the stage and walked around the floor area allowing BOICEs to see him closed-up.

All good things come to an end as the band chorused that this was the best audience during their ending speech. The trio continuously expressed their love and how much they missed Singapore’s BOICEs and inquired if they will be there when they returned again. Yonghwa even pinky-promised that they will be back very soon.

As the final notes played, CNBLUE paced around the stage and bowed to the crowd to express their gratitude marking the end of the night. It was indeed a night that will be etched in BOICEs core memory and we can’t wait to meet the band again in Singapore!
