2015 MAMA returns to Hong Kong on December 2

Mnet Asian Music Awards, the largest-ever expansion with cultural events

SEOUL, KOREA (September 22, 2015) – Asia’s leading content and media company CJ E&M announces that the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo, Arena (AWE) in Hong Kong on Wednesday, December 2.

Inaugural MAMA pre-week event will be packed with various programs in Hong Kong in order to provide global fans with the ultimate MAMA experience. This year’s star-studded awards ceremony is expected to introduce cutting-edge stage technology under the theme of ‘Techart (a combination of technology and art)’ as shown in the official logo above.

“We are thrilled to announce the fourth coming of 2015 MAMA to the geographical hub of Hong Kong and to celebrate its biggest expansion with pre-week activities,” says Hyung-kwan Shin, Executive Vice President at CJ E&M’s music channel Mnet. Shin adds, “The annual music extravaganza will showcase best performances by Asia’s hottest artists to the fans not only in Hong Kong but also from around the globe, highlighting the incredible power and popularity of Asian music.”

In its seventh year since evolving into Asia’s biggest music awards, MAMA’s impact has spread far beyond its origin in Korea to reach other parts of the world. Acclaimed for its advanced stage production and mega-scale performances, MAMA also has been instrumental in introducing Asian music trends and fabulous stages to global audiences. Last year, renowned artists, such as John Legend, Eason Chan, EXO, G-Dragon, Taeyang and Seo Taiji joined to celebrate 2014 MAMA.

[Article Coverage] EXO Planet #2 – The EXO’luXion – in Hong Kong

South Korea phenomenal boy group EXO came back to Hong Kong for their second concert titled EXO PLANET #2 – The EXO’luXion – in HongKong. The concert tour which started in Seoul on March 2015 was held for two days in Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena from Sunday (16/8) to Monday (17/8). EXO’luXion in Hong Kong started at 7.30 pm sharp with Overdose, the song which is their 2nd Mini Album title in 2014, continued with History (2012) and El Dorado (2015).

EXO who came to Hong Kong with their leader Suho, and eight other members; Xiumin, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun also had a lot of fun during the Full Moon and Machine stage. EXO member Chanyeol stood in a big DJ equipment and soon, the concert hall changed into a huge clubbing session. All fans, from balcony to standing sections jumped together with the EXO members once the song started and it made the ground of seating section shook! EXO members especially asked the fans to have fun and put their camera inside the bag. “We had prepared different performances so please jump and play together with us! Everyone put down your cameras, play with us and enjoy our performance,” Baekhyun said.

EXO’luXion in Hong Kong which was organized by Media Asia Entertainment lasted for three hours. The concert was closed by a special song which was arranged by Chanyeol, Lay and Chen; Promise. During this song, the fans prepared a special banner project for EXO written in Korean “Forever we will be together! (We) promise (you)! Okay!” and this made the members speechless. During the encore speech, the youngest member Sehun expressed his gratitude towards their fans. “I already said this yesterday, but for the fans who weren’t here yesterday, I’ll say this one more time. I am happy because all of you are here. Thank you!”. A sweet song titled Angel was the closing song for their concert. Before went backstage, the EXO members promised they will come to Hong Kong again for their next concert. Thank you for the great performance, EXO! See you during your next concert!

140823 Exo From. Exoplanet #1 – The Lost Planet in Singapore

SINGAPORE, 27 Jun 2014 – The heatwave of K-Pop boy band, EXO, will sweep across the land of Singapore this August, with their first world tour – EXO FROM. EXOPLANET #1 – THE LOST PLANET.

EXO’s first world tour blasted off in Seoul at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena earlier in May this year. After sales opened, all tickets were sold out in an instant. An additional day of concert had to be added in order to cater to the overwhelming demand, making their first stop, a three-day performance.

EXO is currently on their tour to China and Taipei City before making their stop here in Singapore.

MediaCorp VizPro International is proud to present EXO FROM. EXOPLANET #1 – THE LOST PLANET in Singapore. The concert will be held on 23 August 2014.
