2015 MAMA returns to Hong Kong on December 2

SEOUL, KOREA (September 22, 2015) – Asia’s leading content and media company CJ E&M announces that the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo, Arena (AWE) in Hong Kong on Wednesday, December 2.

Inaugural MAMA pre-week event will be packed with various programs in Hong Kong in order to provide global fans with the ultimate MAMA experience. This year’s star-studded awards ceremony is expected to introduce cutting-edge stage technology under the theme of ‘Techart (a combination of technology and art)’ as shown in the official logo above.

“We are thrilled to announce the fourth coming of 2015 MAMA to the geographical hub of Hong Kong and to celebrate its biggest expansion with pre-week activities,” says Hyung-kwan Shin, Executive Vice President at CJ E&M’s music channel Mnet. What to expect for BIGBANG World Tour 2015 [MADE] in Jakarta?

27 July 2015, Jakarta, Indonesia – The long wait is over. One of biggest Kpop groups, BIGBANG will be visiting Indonesia once again after their last visit to Indonesia for ALIVE Tour in 2012. This year, Indonesia is scheduled for MADE world tour on 1st August 2015 at Indonesia Convention Centre (ICE), BSD City which is promoted by MecimaPro.

In previous MADE Tour concerts, BIGBANG performed several songs from their recent album series from “M”, “A”, “D” such as Loser, Bae Bae, Bang Bang Bang, We Like to Party, Sober and If You. Not only the newest songs, VIPs will be satisfied with numerous hits songs and solo performances from each member of BIGBANG. In this press conference, the media were informed that this upcoming concert last around 2 hours, with BIGBANG performing around 20 songs. As to whether BIGBANG will perform their new series’ songs in this upcoming concert, it would be a surprise for those attending this concert held on 1st August 2015.

“The preparation itself is almost done, it’s like 80% and still on going, we are focusing on the production matters right now” said Adella Usman, the representative of the MecimaPro for the press conference held at Gandaria City on 26th July 2015. The Korean management has arrived in Jakarta since 25th July night to make the preparations for the upcoming concert this 1st August.

For VIPs who are going to watch the concert, selfie sticks, tab, pocket cameras and also professional cameras will not be allowed into the venue. “Only medias are allowed to bring professional cameras into the venue.” the representative of MecimaPro continued.

Regarding the seat sections, there are eight different sections. The VIP section will be getting more “services” as the VIP ticket holders can get a pass for both fast track and sound check. It has sparked a lot of speculation previously about whether BIGBANG is coming to Australia as part of their 2015 World Tour [MADE].

Finally BIGBANG will bring the World Tour [MADE] to Australia! This will be the first time they visit Australia. Award Entertainment Global, IME and Live Nation are proudly to be the promoters of this great event in Australia.

Artist Introduction : BIGBANG
BIGBANG, formed by YG Entertainment, is the hottest Korean artist group consisted of G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri. Since their debut in 2006, BIGBANG has evolved and exerted their influences as the style icon of the era, widely worshipped by world-renowned artists and fashionistas both locally and internationally.

The music of BIGBANG garnered every bit of attention and received enormous recognition. Brand-new tour [MADE] plus new music BANG the world again!
The first announcement of BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR [MADE] includes major cities in China, Hong Kong,  Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, and Jakarta. This tour will expand to other cities in Asia, Australia, North America, and beyond.

YG Entertainment also announced that BIGBANG will release new music on the 1st of every month between May and September. BIGBANG has been carrying out “MADE” project since May, releasing two songs on the 1 of every month. They are conquering the music scene for three months in a row, with “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” released in May and “BANG BANG BANG” and ” WE LIKE 2 PARTY” released in June recording great success successively.

The song released on the 1 of this month is drawing a big popularity, staying in the No.1 place on Melon, Korea’s biggest music-streaming website, as of July 6 at 7am. In addition, it is also being ranked in top places on other major music charts, along with “SOBER”.

“IF YOU” is a sad and sentimental song that is different from other BIGBANG songs. G-DRAGON took part in composing and writing the lyrics of the song, while PK who composed BIGBANG’s “MONSTER” and Dee.P who composed TAEYANG’s solo “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” with TEDDY worked on the song for composition and arrangement. Leroy Bennett, Creative Director and Production Designer of BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR [MADE], is famous for his lighting and production design work with numerous awards as the Designer of the Year. Bennett’s work began with artists like Prince and Scorpions in the 80’s and 90’s. Nowadays, his musical and architectural vision have been delivered through tours of artists such as Beyonce, Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Rammstein, and Rihanna. To name some of his notable work: Maroon5 World Tour 2015, Beyonce and Jay-Z’s On The Run Tour 2014, Nine Inch Nails Tension Tour 2013, and Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett Cheek to Cheek Tour 2015.

Ed Burke, Co-Creative Director and Visual Director of BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR [MADE], has been Beyonce’s videographer for seven years. Critics highly appraise his successful work in discovering and delivering Beyonce’s talent through screens. His close relationship with the artist gave him access to capture some of the footages that no other directors could. His famous work includes Beyonce and Jay-Z’s On The Run Tour 2014, 7/11 Music Video, and the 57th Grammy Awards 2015 Live Performance.

The BIGBANG Band continues their work on this tour. Originally just a motely crew of musicians, the members of what would become the band first met when Gil Smith and Adrian Porter brought in a team of musicians for their recent project: BIGBANG’s Alive World Tour. Through their success in tackling a new music genre in a new environment, the group developed a strong bond and soon established themselves in the public’s eyes as a full-fledged band. As a result, what started as a short-lived collaboration became a long lasting partnership. For the members of the Band Six, the group became a channel to further each other’s pursuits as well as a way to have fun, enjoy music, and share their knowledge and music with people all over the world. The band members are Gil Smith, Adrian Porter, Justin Lyons, Bennie Rodgers, Dante Inferno, and Omar Dominik and have supported artists like BIGBANG and 2NE1.

BIGBANG 2015 World Tour [MADE] in Sydney will be held on 17th October 2015 at Sydney Olympic Park -Allphones Arena, where accommodates more than 14,000 people. Allphones Arena is one of the largest concert venues in Sydney, at where the concerts of Beyonce, P!nk and Adam Lambert also took place.
