XIA Junsu’s GRAVITY Concert in Singapore Was More Than a Show — It Was a Long-Awaited Reunion

Singapore, 2026 – For many Singapore fans, XIA Junsu’s 2026 XIA 6TH ASIA TOUR CONCERT “GRAVITY” was never just another concert stop. It was an emotional reunion that had been more than a decade in the making.

As the lights dimmed inside the venue, a wave of excitement swept through the crowd. Long-time fans, affectionately known as COCONUT, finally had the opportunity to welcome Junsu back after years of waiting. The audience reflected just how much time had passed, wives brought along their husbands, mothers attended with their children, and many fans who had grown up with Junsu’s music were now sharing the experience with the next generation. It felt less like a fan concert and more like friends reuniting after years apart.

Junsu wasted no time igniting the atmosphere, opening the night with the powerful dance tracks “Beat’s Knockin'” and “eXtreme Love.” His commanding stage presence reminded everyone why he remains one of K-pop’s most respected performers. Every dance move was executed with precision while his live vocals remained unwavering, proving that even after all these years, he continues to perform at the highest level.

During his first ment, Junsu shared that this was actually his first proper concert in Singapore. While he had performed in Singapore before with JYJ, it was not a concert but more like a fan meet. He expressed his sincere regret that it had taken so long to finally return with a full concert. Apologising to fans for the long wait, he promised that Singapore would definitely be included as one of his tour stops in the future, drawing loud cheers from the audience.

The concert then transitioned into a softer, more intimate mood with “HANA” and “Pit A Pat,” before a VCR introduced the next chapter of the show.

Seated comfortably on the stage, Junsu serenaded fans with heartfelt performances of “Forest of Memories” and “My Night.” Stripping away the elaborate choreography, the spotlight fell entirely on his rich vocals and emotional delivery, allowing every lyric to resonate throughout the venue.

Before performing “Slowly,” Junsu asked whether everyone had listened to his newly released album. The crowd enthusiastically responded with a resounding “Yes!”, prompting a wide smile from the singer before he continued with the touching ballad.

Following another VCR, Junsu returned dressed in a sharp suit for “Homage,” accompanied by a microphone stand that highlighted his commanding vocal performance.

One of the night’s biggest highlights came during his signature fan interaction segment, “Genie Time.” A staple throughout the tour, fans prepared lyrics from songs they hoped Junsu would perform. He delighted the audience by singing musical numbers including “The Shadow Is Getting Longer” and “When Would It Be.”

The segment also produced one of the funniest moments of the evening. Junsu selected a married couple from the audience who revealed they had first met at one of his fan meetings before eventually getting married. Bursting into laughter, Junsu joked, “You all kept asking me to stay single, but you got married yourselves?” sending the entire venue into fits of laughter.

The playful mood continued when the crowd began chanting “Mirotic.” Unable to resist the fans’ persistence, Junsu happily gave in, dancing to the iconic choreography and earning one of the loudest cheers of the night.

The concert soon shifted gears once again as Junsu powered through “Our Season,” “Reach,” “Red Diamond,” “Xiahtic,” and “Rock the World,” showcasing the charisma and explosive energy that have defined his performances throughout his career.

Following the final VCR introducing the tour’s concluding chapter, Junsu delivered a powerful performance of “GRAVITY,” bringing the main set to a spectacular close. COCONUTs then surprised Junsu with a touching fan-made VCR. Clearly moved, he thanked everyone for their unwavering support over the years.

In his final speech, Junsu reflected on the significance of the evening. Not only did the concert mark his long-awaited return to Singapore, but it also served as the final stop of the GRAVITY Asia Tour. Describing it as a “wrapping day,” he shared that the occasion prompted him to reflect on the journey the tour had taken. He once again apologised for keeping Singapore fans waiting for so long and promised that he would return much sooner the next time.

The celebrations continued with encore performances of “Incredible” before one final surprise – “Sakuranbo.” Fans leapt to their feet, singing, jumping and dancing together with Junsu, transforming the venue into one giant celebration and ending the night on an unforgettable high.

Throughout the evening, Junsu effortlessly balanced the confidence and professionalism of a veteran performer with the warmth, humour and playfulness that fans have loved for years. Whether commanding the stage during high-energy dance numbers, pouring his emotions into heartfelt ballads, or joking comfortably with the audience, he made every fan feel like they were part of the evening. Judging by the smiles, tears and deafening cheers that filled the venue, it was well worth the wait – and if Junsu keeps his promise, hopefully this reunion won’t take another 16 years.
