KAI’s KAION Concert in Singapore – A Night of Eternity and Emotion

Singapore, On 21 June 2025 (Saturday), EXO’s KAI made his long-awaited return to Singapore for the 2025 KAI SOLO CONCERT TOUR, IN SINGAPORE, held at The Star Theatre at 5:30 PM. The excitement in the air was undeniable as fans—EXO-Ls—gathered to witness the dance king’s magnetic stage presence in person once again. From the opening moments to the final goodbye, KAI delivered a show that was as unforgettable as it was emotional.

KAI kicked off the night with his signature charm, joking that Singapore’s weather was hotter than he had expected. But little did the audience know—his performances would prove to be just as fiery. Performing a total of 20 songs, KAI flawlessly showcased his top solo hits including “Mmmh,” “Peaches,” “Rover,” and “Wait on Me.” Each performance was infused with precision, passion, and poise, reminding everyone exactly why he holds the coveted ‘centre’ position in EXO.

From sultry R&B tracks to high-energy dance numbers, KAI proved his versatility as an artist. His dance moves were nothing short of breathtaking—sharp, crisp, and effortlessly fluid. The stage transformed with every song, with KAI adapting seamlessly to each mood and sound. Beyond the choreography and vocals, he brought emotion and storytelling into every moment, making the concert feel less like a performance and more like a personal journey shared with the audience.

Of course, no KAI concert would be complete without his signature fashion. Living up to his reputation as a global style icon, each stage outfit was more stunning than the last. Whether he was draped in a luxurious red outfit or sporting bold, edgy cuts, KAI exuded elegance and confidence that only he could pull off so naturally.

Midway through the show, KAI took a heartfelt moment to explain the meaning behind the name KAION. He shared that it is a blend of “KAI” and “AION,” the Greek word for eternity—signifying his desire for a never-ending connection with his fans. On this stage, he said, he was declaring the beginning of that eternity. The crowd erupted into applause, touched by his sincerity.

Before the concert came to a close, fans had a surprise of their own. While KAI was backstage preparing for the final segment, the entire theatre joined together to sing his latest single, Adult Swim. Listening from behind the curtain, KAI was visibly moved when he returned. Teasing the crowd, he joked, “I know some of you didn’t sing—but it’s okay,” flashing his signature grin.

Adding to the emotional night, fans raised a beautiful banner that read, “Let’s dive in an endless dream with KAI.” It was a perfect reflection of the atmosphere in the theatre—dreamlike, heartfelt, and full of love.

As the lights dimmed and KAI waved his final goodbye, one thing was clear: KAION wasn’t just a concert. It was a promise. A celebration of artistry, connection, and a shared eternity between KAI and his fans.

Singapore, 2025 – BOL4, also known as “Bolbbalgan4” (볼빨간사춘기), which translates to “Blushing Youth,” debuted under Shofar Entertainment in April 2016 with her first mini album, Red Ickle. With her unique voice and talent for crafting meaningful, resonant lyrics, BOL4 has captured the hearts of many, solidifying her place in the music industry over her remarkable eight-year career. Just two years after her successful Asia tour in 2023, she returned to Singapore this January to reunite with her fans, affectionately known as “LoBolys,” at The Theatre at Mediacorp.

Returning after two years, Ahn Ji-Young, the sole member of BOL4, candidly shared her feelings of apprehension. “I was worried a lot because I haven’t been able to see you guys for two years,” she confessed. “But the moment I arrived, I received a cake and a collection of letters from all my fans, which made me realize, ‘Oh, my Singapore fans didn’t forget me!’” Her heartfelt words resonated with the audience, who cheered loudly in response, demonstrating their unwavering love and support.

The concert opened with fan-favorite tracks Galaxy and You and I From the Beginning, setting an electrifying tone for the evening. Ji-Young then took a moment to interact with the audience. Before performing her hit song You, she taught the crowd how to dance along, even inviting a fan to lead the choreography. Watching the fan dance, she laughed in delight, exclaiming, “The cutest person to ever do the dance!” When it came time to perform, the audience didn’t disappoint, enthusiastically dancing along. The energy in the room was infectious, and the moment remains unforgettable.

One of the most memorable highlights was her performance of Some, a personal favorite. The entire audience sang along, their voices echoing throughout the venue. Ji-Young beamed with admiration before cheekily exclaiming, “Shiok lah!”—a charming attempt at Singlish that had the audience erupting in laughter. Throughout the evening, she sprinkled more Singlish phrases, such as “Swee lah!” endearing herself even further to her fans.

Ji-Young not only showcased her vocal prowess but also made a conscious effort to engage and entertain her fans. Before performing Travel, she involved the audience in creating a unique fanchant. After some back-and-forth brainstorming, they settled on the phrase “Love you lah,” a special nod to Singaporean culture. The result? A powerful, unified chant that reverberated through the venue as everyone jumped and sang along.

During the encore, Ji-Young asked the audience what songs they wanted to hear, causing a frenzy of excited shouts. Eventually, she turned to the fan who had danced earlier and asked him to choose. He picked Space, and Ji-Young nodded, saying, “I heard Space is really popular in Singapore!” Fans also clamored for Chase Love Heart, and, in a display of generosity, she performed both songs. This gesture left the audience ecstatic and further demonstrated her commitment to making her fans happy.

As the concert drew to a close, Ji-Young made one final heartfelt request. “Make a promise with me! Promise me that you’ll come back next time. I’m pretty sure I’ll keep my promise, but I’m not sure about you guys!” she teased, playfully pouting. Her adorable demeanor melted the hearts of her fans, who no doubt will eagerly await her return. She ended the night with Dandelion, her beautiful voice leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

Ahn Ji-Young shone brightly during her Bloom concert in Singapore, captivating the audience with her incredible vocals, infectious energy, and endearing personality.
