Singapore – LEEMINHO Global Tour 2014 <Re: Minho> has officially been postponed to a later date which has yet to be confirmed. Seoul Girls Collection (Korea), the main organiser, has made an official release on the change in the status of the event.

Ticket holders can get their refunds from Sportshub Tix between 5 November 2014, 10am – 19 November 2014 8pm.

Refunds will be done via the following methods:

1) Payment by credit card – refunds will be automatically credited back to original credit card used for the transaction.

2) Payment by cash / nets – customers are to proceed to Sports Hub Tix Box Office with their physical tickets and photo ID for a cash refund.

Indonesia, Jakarta 3 November 2014 – On 10th January 2015, Jakarta will be the house of Best of Best Concert in Jakarta. The Concert will be placed at Lapangan D Senayan Jakarta. The guest line up for this concert are Girls Generation, SHINee, Bangtan Boys (BTS), and Winner. This concert was held by PT. SH Elim Jaya Entertainment together with Sinchunoung Agency.

Best of Best Concert is an Omnibus Concert Brand owned by Sinchunoung Agency, based in South Korea. Before Jakarta, Best of Best Concert has been held in several countries such as Nanjing, Taipei, Hongkong, and Guangzhou. Best of Best Concert has its guest based on its name, the line up guest should be the best of the best from each categories.

PT. SH Elim Jaya Entertainment decided to bring the Best of Best Concert to Jakarta with Girls Generation, SHINee, Bangtan Boys (BTS), and Winner as its guest line up.

Girl’s Generation is a girl group debuted under SM Entertainment. From 2007, the girls has released several hits songs such as Gee, Genie, Oh!, The Boys, I Got a Boy, and their latest album Mr. Mr. Girl’s Generation has gained popularity not only in Korea but also worldwide such as United States, Europe, Asia. Mr. Mr. has won the first place on the iTunes album chart at seven countries and regions. Last June, ‘Mr. Mr’ was selected as the American Times ‘2014 Best Song 25’ and the song was the only Asian song on the list.

SHINee is a 5 member boy group under SM Entertainment. The group consist Onew, Key, Jonghyun, Minho, and Taemin. SHINee was widely known by their bizzare yet unique stage outfit. Beside that, SHINee also known by their highly complicated coreography compared to the other boy group. At this Best of Best Concert, it will be their 4th time meeting with Indonesian’s SHINee World.

Bangtan Boys or usually called BTS, is a boy group consist of Rap Monster, J-Hope, V, Jin, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook under Big Hit Entertainment. Debuted in 2013, by maintaining their bad boy concept, BTS has gained their popularity world wide and their fans called themself A.R.M.Y. BTS has released several single such as No More Dream, We Are Bulletproof, Boy in Luv, and their latest single, Danger.

Winner is a new boygroup debuted under YG Entertainment. Consist of Kang Seungyoon, Song Mino, Kim Jinwoo, Nam Taehyun, and Lee Seunghoon. Although they just debuted several months ago, their already gained their popularity trough a reality show called WIN (Who is next?) which allow them to win the competition and debuted with the name WINNER.

‘Pride and Prejudice’ dominates ratings in Korea

SINGAPORE (October 29, 2014) – Pride and Prejudice, the highly anticipated drama series premiering on the brand new Korean channel Oh!K (StarHub TV Channel 816) within 24 hours of its Korean telecast on MBC, has already taken audiences by storm. Ratings data from the first two episodes of the new show confirm that it is the leading drama series in its timeslot in Korea with almost double the ratings of its nearest competitor.

Viewers in Singapore, who can currently enjoy a free preview of Oh!K, were able to watch the first episode on the channel last night and have the second episode to look forward to tonight at 8:55pm.

Those who missed out on the first airing of Pride and Prejudice can catch repeats of both episodes back-to-back at 5:50pm on Sunday, November 1. Oh!K broadcasts the 20-episode show with the original Korean audio, as well as Chinese and English subtitles.

The highly-anticipated show features rising stars Choi Jin-hyuk and Baek Jin-hee who play two district attorneys fighting for justice in a corrupt society.

Choi Jin-hyuk, the 29-year-old actor from Mokpo, is quickly making a name for himself. His leading role in Pride and Prejudice comes on the back of his part in the highly-rated series You Are My Destiny, another MBC drama airing on Oh!K, and a remake of the 2008 Taiwanese drama, Fated to Love You. He’s joined on-set by leading lady Baek Jin-hee (Triangle, Empress Ki) and established on-air tough guy, Choi Min-Soo.

Oh!K has first pick of content from Korea’s leading broadcaster, MBC, which has a proven track record of top-rating, quality productions that have dominated TV over the past five decades. Other current hit shows that will be available on Oh!K include drama series Diary of a Night Watchman and My Blooming Days and the long-running variety show, Infinite Challenge, and the Emmy-nominated reality show Dad, Where Are We Going?.

Dressed in a gorgeous red dress, Ha Ji-won (female lead of Empress Ki) appeared at the Conrad Centennial Hotel on the afternoon of 26 September 2014. The female actress made her entrance through the front door, wowing the press with her beauty and stunning appearance.

When asked about the preparation process for her latest drama – Empress Ki, Ha Ji-Won explained that it is the longest drama she has ever filmed. Not only does this drama clock in a total of 51 episodes, it is also emotionally demanding. As the show progresses, Ha Ji-Won’s character undergoes lots of changes. From a boy to a palace gong nyeo, to a mother and the political ruler of the country, Ha Ji-Won finds that filming had been tough but the happiest time for her.

For her past several on-screen characters, Ha Ji-Won has been heavily involved with action scenes. When asked on her opinion, she expressed that she has always enjoyed action scenes, despite the risk of sustaining injuries. When filming the horse-riding scenes with fellow co-actor Ji Chang Wook, she suffered from bruises all over her leg. In addition, she took up ballet and stretching lessons prior to the filming to aid in portraying the elegance and confidence of her character.

Many have been curious as to how Ha Ji-Won managed to maintain her flawless complexion despite her busy schedules. To this, she explained that because of filming, she had been sleep-deprived for 6-7 months. However, she placed an emphasis on her diet, taking in lots of nuts and yogurt. Her mom even makes her doshirak (lunchboxes) during the filming process. She encourages all women to do weights to train their muscles and maintain a healthy lifestyle. She even mentioned that she’s proud of her toned arms, and also her hips.

When asked if she’s similar to her characters in real life, Ha Ji-Won smiled and said, “If you talk to my childhood friends, you would know I am no way near my character. But acting is something I really enjoy doing, and I think this is what I can offer to the audience.”

When asked about her opinions on her co-actors, she thanked the two male leads for their consideration and kindness at the film scene. She shared good chemistry with both Joo Jin-Mo and Ji Chang-Wook, and goes on to say that both their characters were distinct but charming.

Ha Ji-Won was surprised to see so many fans at the airport, and she planned on visiting a good restaurant for dinner. She also mentioned that on the 27 September, she will be meeting several fans at the Universal Studios Singapore, and she expressed her excitement in riding the Transformers ride. As she will be visiting Singapore fans again on 9 January 2015, she promised herself to plan in advance and travel around Singapore more the next time.
