Singapore, 18 March 2015 – It is no rumour: Former MBLAQ member Lee Joon is entangled in a teenage pregnancy scandal for his latest drama showing exclusively on Sony ONE.

Heard It as a Rumour is the compelling and unexpectedly hilarious story of an upper class Korean family headed by Han Jun Ho (Yu Jun Sang) and his wife Choi Yun Hee (Yoo Ho Jeong). The power couple is determined to see their teenage son Han In Sang (Lee Joon) become an accomplished lawyer so they do everything they can to make it happen, including manipulating government officials and hiring shamans. But the entire plan shrieks to a halt when rumours start to spread that In Sang has impregnated his high school girlfriend Seo Bom (Go Ah Sung).

The once ordered household is now in chaos. Can the Hans make In Sang stick to the path they’ve dreamt up for him? And what will In Sang fight for — the prestigious family reputation or his beloved “Bom Bom”?

All these pressing questions will be answered when Heard It as a Rumour premieres on Sony ONE, starring charismatic K-pop idol Lee Joon and veteran actor Yu Jun Sang, who has received accolades for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Couple in some of Korea’s biggest awards ceremonies.

Sony ONE is set to let the ‘baby’ out of the bag with Heard It as a Rumour on 23 March 2015, following the end of legal-thriller Punch.

For the first time ever, Mode Entertainment proudly presents a specially conceptualized concert featuring the most popular & well-loved Korean drama OST theme songs. This concert will be staged on 22nd April 2015, 8PM at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre.

“OST”, an abbreviation for “Original Sound Track”, is a common term used in Korean Pop to refer to the music and theme songs showcased in popular Korean dramas.

The concert will be headlined by the reigning Queen and King of K-Drama songs – Korean Pop superstars, Baek Z Young and K.Will, who are performing in Singapore for the first time.

Baek Z Young, the top female vocalist in Korea, is well known for her mega hits – the theme songs from “Secret Garden”, “Rooftop Prince”, “Iris”, “Good Doctor”, and the 2015 drama “Hyde, Jekyll, Me”, among others. The respected veteran ballad singer has been a regular chart topper in Korea, with multi-platinum-selling albums since her debut in 1999, cementing her status as a National K-pop treasure. With sold-out concerts across Korea, she also released a #1 album which was a collection of the TV drama OST she recorded.

K.Will, the most successful K-pop male vocalist to emerge in recent years, is most famous for his OST theme songs from dramas such as “You Who Came from the Stars”, “King 2 Hearts” and “Brilliant Legacy”. He is also the voice behind the theme song of the latest K-Drama hit series “Pinocchio”. K.Will was awarded the Mnet Asian Music Awards for Best Male Vocalist in 2012, and hit #1 on Billboard K-Pop Top 100 in 2013. Renowned for his vocal prowess, stars such as Rain and actor Lee Min Ho have proclaimed their love for his singing skills.

Dragon Blade Stars To Attend Press Conference and Gala Premiere in Singapore

Singapore, 26th January 2015 – Superstars Jackie Chan, John Cusack, Adrien Brody, Choi Siwon, Lin Peng and Wang Ruo Xin will be in Singapore from 9th to 11th February to promote the upcoming Chinese New Year action blockbuster, DRAGON BLADE. The stars are set to embark on a flurry of promotional activities in Singapore, their 1st stop in Asia.

Dragon Blade entourage of 25 will be arriving Singapore from Beijing by two private jets on Monday, 9th February at 6.30am. They will kick start their series of activities for the movie the next day with a press conference. The press conference will be held at Pan Pacific Hotel at 10.00am on 10th February, where the stars will field questions from our Singapore media regarding their roles in the movie. In the evening at 7pm, the Dragon Blade stars will proceed to nex to make their first public appearance for the promotional event. Local fans can look forward to meeting their idols at nex’s Level 1 Atrium. At 8.30pm, the Dragon Blade stars will grace the red carpet at the Singapore Gala Premiere of Dragon Blade, to be held at Golden Village Vivocity located at 1 HarbourFront Walk. A large turn-out of over 2,100 guests is expected at the Dragon Blade Singapore Gala Premiere which will include business partners, media and fans.

Jackie Chan and his entourage will leave Singapore the following day by their private jets.

DRAGON BLADE is a legendary blockbuster directed by the highly-acclaimed director, Daniel Lee (“14 Blades”, “Three Kingdoms”), starring Jackie Chan who also works as executive producer, John Cusack, Adrien Brody and Choi Siwon. This epic blockbuster is filmed at a budget of US$65 million, a record-breaking figure for a Chinese film.

DRAGON BLADE is a story set in 48BC during the Han Dynasty. Huo An (played by Jackie Chan), the Commander of the Protection Squad of the Western Regions, who protects China’s border and secures peace among warring tribes on the Silk Road. When a convoy of gold bearing a foreign insignia is discovered inside China, he is accused of treason and sent to the border as a slave laborer. With only a small group of his most loyal soldiers, including his right hand man, Yin Po (played by Choi Siwon), he must fight to survive in the prison camp. When a small army of Roman soldiers led by General Lucius (played by John Cusack) appears at the border gate, they outmatch the Chinese border guards. However when Huo An enters the battle, he single-handedly turns it around and earns the respect of Lucius. Among the Romans is a blind boy called Publius, the youngest son of Rome’s Consul Crassus. Crassus was assassinated by his ambitious eldest son, Tiberius (played by Adrien Brody), who is leading 100,000 soldiers towards the border gate, employing subterfuge to kidnap Lucius. This leads to a thrilling piece of history that has never before been told.

DRAGON BLADE is co-distributed by Encore Films and Golden Village Pictures in Singapore. It is scheduled for release on Chinese New Year’s Day, 19th February 2015 in Singapore.

December 5, 2014 – Korean actress Ha Ji Won will be back in Singapore for her 1st Asia Tour Fan Meeting on 10 January 2015, titled “Bridge of Friendship”. This will be her second time in Singapore after her first trip to promote her recent drama “Empress Ki” on 27 September 2014.

The first two fan meetings held in Japan and Taiwan on June 2014 and October 2014 respectively were a huge success. Despite her serious acting in dramas like “Empress Ki” and “The King 2 Hearts”, Ha Ji Won showcased a lively and bright side, different from her onscreen character, at the fan meetings. She even surprised fans with her skills in dancing and singing, and also performed her recent release “Now In This Place”.

Organized by KMTV Asia and C Media, Ha Ji Won’s 1st Asia Tour in Singapore will be held on 10 January 2015 (Saturday) 7:30PM at the Singapore Conference Hall.
