Jakarta, 2017 – Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI), Embassy of the Republic of Korea with Seoul Newspaper held the final chapter of the 2017 K-Pop Cover Dance Festival in Indonesia (KCDF). The event was held on 29 April 2017 at The Ice Palace, Lotte Shopping Avenue, Jakarta.
Jakarta, 2017 – Sungha Jung will be the International Guest Star for the upcoming Korean Culture Day (KCD) event, Sunsational Getaway on 6 May 2017 at Balairung University of Indonesia! The famous guitarist will also have a CD Signing session for 200 fans who buy his album at KCD’s booth on the event day. Singapore, 2017 – Viewers in Asia are in for a treat this May with the premiere of new drama series ‘My Sassy Girl’ at the same time as Korea on top-rated Korean entertainment channel ONE! Headlined by A-listers Joo Won (The Gang Doctor) and Oh Yeon Seo (Please Come Back Mister), the television adaptation of the hit movie of the same name will premiere on 29 May and air every Monday and Tuesday at 9pm, with localized subtitles in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malay. April, 2017 – Lee Dong Wook was in town on 15 April 2017 for his ‘For My Dear’ Asia tour in Singapore. Decked in a dashing grey suit, Lee Dong Wook kick-started the day with a public press conference attended by media representatives and passionate fans amidst the sweltering hot weather. Courtesy of Starhub, 40 lucky fans won exclusive front-row passes for the press conference and 5 lucky fans even walked away with goodie bags.
13 April 2017 – Korean actress Kim You Jung brings her “First Memory” fan meeting from Taiwan to Singapore this May 2017! This is Kim You Jung’s maiden trip to Singapore, and also the second stop for her fan meeting tour in Asia.
Kim You Jung is one of the many popular actresses from South Korea, having acted in various hit dramas when she made her debut at a young age of 4 years old. Some of the few hit dramas where she was highly recognized for are: “Moon Embracing the Sun” (2012), and “Love in the Moonlight” (2016).
Organized by KMTV Asia, Kim You Jung’s “First Memory” Fan Meeting in Singapore will be held on 20th May 2017 (Saturday) 7:00 PM at SHINE Auditorium. Ticket sales will start on 21 April 2017 7:00 PM via Asia Box Office, with ticket prices starting from $168 (excluding booking fees).
All ticket holders are entitled to a Hi-Touch session, whereas CAT A ticket holders will have a group photo opportunity (20pax each group) with the actress. There are also 100 pre-signed event posters for 100 lucky fans, with 70pax and 30pax chosen from CAT A and CAT B respectively which will be handed out by staff.
