Singapore, 2016 – The 21st Asian Television Awards Live Show was held successfully on 2nd Dec 2016, at Suntec Convention Centre. Numerous awards were given out during this ‘live’ event, including ‘Best drama series’,  ‘Best Music Programme’, ‘Best Actor’, ‘Best Actress’ and many more.

A total of 46 awards were given out across two days – 18 on the trade dinner event held on 1 December and another 28 on the “live” show held on 2 December in front of a filled hall.

Among which,  CJ E&M’s ‘MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards)’ won the ‘Best Entertainment (One off/Annual)’, KBS’s ‘Descendants of the Sun’ won the ‘Best Drama Series’ and JTBC’s ‘Crime Scene 2 won the ‘Best game or quiz programme’. Continue reading →

Rising actor Ko Kyung Pyo to visit Singapore for the first time!

Singapore, 2016 – Korean actor Ko Kyung Pyo will be visiting Singapore for his first event with fans! This will be his first visit to Singapore and his first fan meet overseas in the South East Asia region.

Organized by KMTV Asia, and sponsored by Grand Park Orchard and 5:5, Ko Kyung Pyo’s 1st Fan Meeting in Singapore will be held on 7th January 2017 (Saturday), 7PM at Suntec Convention Centre, Level 3. This exclusive event is only open to 150 fans who will have the chance to get up- close and personal with the actor himself.

Fans attending the fan meeting will receive a hi-touch and a group photo with Ko Kyung Pyo at the end of the event. During the event, some lucky fans might even have the chance to take a selfie with him too! Tickets priced at $148 (excluding $3 booking fee), will go on sale at www.asiaboxoffice.com from 17 December 2016 at 10AM.

Mystery K-Pop act for ATA 2016 finally unveiled!

Singapore, 2016 – After months of eagerly anticipating, the mystery K-Pop for Asian Television Awards 2016 has finally been revealed.

Presenting Amber Liu, a member of the popular Korean group, f(x). Apart from being part of the band, Amber also works hard and is active as a solo artist.

With the unveiling of Amber Liu, the final piece to the performance lineup is now complete.

Other confirmed performers include Charli XCX, JJ Lin, Rossa and Ivy Grace Paredes. Hosts for this year’s event are Adrian Pang, Alden Richards, Baki Zainal, Fiona Su and Stephanie Carrington.

The 21st Asian Television Awards takes place on 2 December 2016 at Suntec City Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

 

What is the most memorable experience filming for Entourage?

Singapore, 2016 – Rising actors Seo Kang Joon and Lee Dong Hwi came to Singapore to promote their new drama, Entourage which will be broadcasted on tvN every Monday and Tuesday. Although this is not the first time being in Singapore for Seo Kang Joon, it is a first time for Lee Dong Hwi who shared his surprise at how beautiful Singapore is. Seo Kang Joon also exclaimed, “I wish to make much more great memories here in Singapore!”
